IMA Benelux and the social environment

Sensitive to its social environment, IMA Benelux wanted to reach out to a local not-for-profit organisation.

At the beginning of winter 2009, with the full backing of all the staff, the choice was made to support “Thermos”, an association based in Liège which brings a little warmth and comfort everyday to some of the most disadvantaged members of a local community known as ‘la Cité Ardente’.
Thanks to the volunteers, soup and bread are distributed on a daily basis, and, if necessary, heated overnight shelters are made available.

A word of thanks from the Board of Directors, represented by the President of "Thermos", Martine Marshall: 'The Board thanks IMA Benelux for the gesture it has decided to make towards our association. Such actions, particularly in times of economic crisis, show that solidarity is not an empty word... They allow us to continue our work and encourage us.’
